In our continuing effort to keep your account(s) secure, we have improved our alert system for potential debit card fraud. Here is how it works:
- When potential debit card fraud is detected, you will receive an automatic email notification with the option to reply with fraud or no fraud.
- One minute after the email is sent, you will receive a text alert, which also has the fraud or no fraud option.
- If no response is received, you will then receive an automatic phone call asking you to confirm or deny fraud. The call will also give you the option of speaking to a fraud analyst.
- Once you confirm fraud via email, text, or telephone between the hours of 8 am-9 pm, you will automatically receive a call from a fraud analyst. Otherwise, you will receive a call from a fraud analyst the next day.
Remember, our messages will never ask for your PIN or account number.
Our Fraud Center, 1-800-237-8990, will contact you by text, email, and phone in the event a fraud alert is placed on your card. If you add this number to your phone contacts and label it 'Fraud Center', it will display on your phone whenever you get a call from this number.
The email address sending the alert will be firstname.lastname@example.org.
