Education is very important to Senior Management at UMB.  UMB offered tuition scholarships to students majoring in Education and attending Copiah Lincoln Community College.  UMB stays active supporting school/fundraisers in the Miss-Lou.

UMB has representatives in local civic and service clubs, and serving as board members on the Natchez Adams County Chamber of Commerce, the Natchez Business and Civic League, the Adams County Equestrian Center, the Wilkinson County Main Street Association, and the Woodville Civic Club.

United Mississippi Bank was named 2003 Business of the Year at the annual Natchez Adams County Chamber of Commerce banquet held in December 2003.  UMB was instrumental in the inception and continues its support of Natchez Now, an organization made up of the public and private sector, to strengthen our economic development.
